One of Nollywood’s finest, Genevieve Nnaji has expressed appreciation to the Academy of Motion Picture, Arts and Sciences, after it extended an invitation to her to join the Academy as member.
It is pertinent to note that three Nigerians made this year’s invitee list, they are; Genevieve Nnaji, Akin Omotoso and Cynthia Erivo.
However, Nnaji took to Twitter to express her gratitude, describing that, it as an honour to join the Academy who released its list of new members, alongside 819 invitees.
Recall that in 2018, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde made the list in the company of Simon Onwurah to become members of The Academy.
