TINUBU GRANTS EXTENSION FOR ACTING NIS CG, WURUOLA ADEPOJU
The acting Comptroller General of Immigration Service, Mrs Caroline Wuruola Adepoju has received the nod of President Bola Ahmed to continue in office.
The Presidential directive is in view of the fact that Adepoju’s emergence as acting Comptroller General coincided with the date of handing over to the new president and as such will take a while for the new government to stabilize.
According to the source in the Presidency, ” the new President will definitely need a few months to settle down and deal with more urgent issues .
It will be recalled that the new acting Comptroller General assumed office on the 29th of May 2023, upon the expiration of the extension granted the erstwhile CGIS, Alhaji Isah Jere.
