By Edo 2020: Obaseki, Shaibu obtains PDP flag, Certificates of Return in Abuja

Ahead of the Edo governorship election, Governor Godwin Obaseki has received his Certificate of Return and party Flag at Wadata Plaza, headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Abuja after emerging the party’s candidate for the September, 2020 poll.
Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu was also present at the party’s national secretariat for the exercise.
The event was attended by the PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, Governor Bala Mohammed, chairman of the Edo electoral panel, as well as members of the committee.
In his remark, Governor Bala Mohammed narrates the events leading to the voluntary withdrawal of all Aspirants from the Gubernatorial race, pledging their support and commitment to work with the party flag bearer, Governor Godwin Obaseki and Philip Shaibu.
