PASSPORT REFORMS: NIS REDEPLOYS 15 PASSPORT CONTROLLERS.

The acting Comptroller General of Immigration, Caroline Wuraola Adepoju has approved the immediate reposting of over a dozen passport officers, in a bid to deepen the ongoing passport reform process.
In a release signed by the acting Service PRO, Assistant Comptroller Kenneth Kure, the CGIS said the NIS management was determined to upgrade the Passport administration both at home and in our foreign missions and will not go back on its avowed position to make passport offices across board to be purely Service oriented.
According to the posting order signed by the Deputy Comptroller General incharge of Human Resources, Usman Babangida, the affected passport offices includes, Alausa and Festac both in Lagos, as well as the ones in Edo, Anambra, Bayelsa, Kogi, Nassarawa, Plateau, Enugu, Abia, Kano, Taraba and Ondo, among others.
The Acting CG maintained that only the best brains who have fully adopted the mantra of Service above self, will henceforth be posted to sensitive places because ” our people deserve nothing short of the best”
