Leadership Centre urges Tinubu to form unity government

Unity
The Ugwumba Leadership Centre for Africa has called on the President-elect, Sen. Bola Tinubu, to form an inclusive government of national unity.
Uche Nwosu, President of the Centre, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
He said an inclusive national government, irrespective of political party affiliations, would help stabilise the president-elect’s administration and move the country forward.
According to him, a unity government is what will foster the much needed peaceful co-existence Nigerians desperately require.
He urged the president-elect to unite all political factions by appealing to the opposition parties for an alliance in shared knowledge and ideas on how to salvage the country.
Nwosu also appealed to the APC leaders in various capacities to help foster the peace and unity of Nigeria.
He said Nigerian youths, especially those who voted for the first time in the general election, should not be discouraged that their preferred candidate was not declared winner.
Nwosu said it was needless for them to be distraught, adding that since only God can choose leaders, young people had ample time ahead to vote in future.
“Let them also know that whatever God has destined, no man can change it. If today God says it is Tinubu, then there is nothing you can do about it.
“We have been able to conduct a successful general election and that is one thing to give thanks to God,’’ Nwosu said. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
