Peace Corps members receive digital training, get N2.1 Million worth of Zuga coin

Over five thousand officers and men of the Peace Corps of Nigeria are participating in a digital training organized by an NGO, African Digital Literacy.

An entrepreneur, Archbishop Sam Zuga redeemed a pledge of two point one million Naira Worth of Zuga coin promised the one hundred and eighty-seven thousand members of the Peace Corps during the organization’s anniversary

With the money, they were expected to trade online with the coin, to subsequently buy assets or cryptocurrency.

Addressing the participants, the National Commandant of the Peace Corps of Nigeria, Professor Dickson Akoh said the target was to reduce unemployment and improve the economic situation of the country.

Professor Akoh advised the Youths to train other youths and impact positively on their various communities.

Representatives from Anambra, Anthonymary Amali and Niger State, Harmony Dulfalap said the training would make them independent and economically viable.

Another participant from Kebbi State, Mudaassir Nasir said the training was a step in the right direction.

Splashnewsng reports that this first phase of the training has in attendance, Board of Trustees members, National Board Executive Members, the 36 State including the FCT Commandants and its executives, the 774 Local Government Commanders and its executive.
